This past Saturday, Ramapo Mountain Ski Club members and guests gathered at Il Palazzo in Wanque, NJ, to celebrate our Annual Awards Banquet-a night filled with laughter, friends, and shared stories. With 63 attendees, both familiar faces and new friends enjoyed a lively cocktail hour, a delicious dinner buffet featuring roast beef, tender ribs, eggplant rollatini, roast vegetables, salad and pasta selections, followed by a RMSC cake and ice cream. The cocktail our and our DJ Nick DeRoda, kicked off the night as we shared our ski adventures, and looked forward to what’s next for our club.

Co-emcees Steve Edgeller and Lisa Ciancarelli guided the evening’s program, highlighted by awards recognizing outstanding accomplishments and contributions-including the Elizabeth Farnham Trophy, Ski Racing Achievements, the Aorangi Award, and more. Congratulations to Roberta Lieberman as our 2026 Aorangi honoree!

 

The night featured plenty of laughs, stories, and heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated officers, trustees and volunteers!
